Blindspot gets full season order
Debuting to more than 10 million viewers and a 3.1 A18-49 demo rating, Blindspot has been one of the few true success stories so far this fall. After just three episodes, the network has made a decision to pick up its new drama “Blindspot” for a full season, reports Variety, the first full-season pickup this year. It stars Alexander as Jane Doe, a woman who is found naked in Times Sqauare with her body fully covered in tattoos with no memory of her past.
This week’s episode, for instance, posted a 2.44 adults 18-49 rating with 9.062 million total viewers according to live+same-day data. Her case catches the attention of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which soon discovers that the tattoos are in fact a roadmap that leads them to a large conspiracy.
The cast also includes Sullivan Stapleton, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Rob Brown, Audrey Esparza, Ukweli Roach, and Ashley Johnson. The show is a production of Warner Bros. The freshman drama from Greg Berlanti and Martin Gero has received an order for nine additional episodes after the network had ordered nine additional back-up scripts for the Jaimie Alexander-starring thriller in September.
