Blizzard announces StarCraft II: Nova Covert Ops DLC
Ever since, a few desperate fans have held out hope that StarCraft: Ghost may one day rematerialize, and Blizzard has kept that glimmer of hope alive by never outright saying Ghost has been canceled.
Nova, the sneaky Terran ghost, will be the star of Nova Covert Ops, set post-Legacy of the Void.
Well, after 13 years Activision Blizzard is finally getting around to doing something with Nova. This gear can dramatically change how you play through the mission and encourages you to revisit the missions with different loadouts for more replayability. At BlizzCon 2015, Blizzard’s Mike Morhaime explained StarCraft 2 will see additional mission packs following the launch of StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void.
During an interview with Starcraft II lead developer Tim Morten and GameSpot, Morten said: “I can tell you that, today, our focus is 100% on this content that we’ve announced here at the show”. Probably the latter, but hey, at least we’re finally getting a few sort of closure on this thing. It will be split up into three packs, each containing three missions following Nova as she slinks around, getting into covert mischief.
