Blizzard unannounced first-person project an Overwatch campaign?
Apparently, the game director of “Overwatch” and Blizzard’s vice president, Jeff Kaplan, has expressed interest in developing a co-op campaign for the videogame.
This would not be too surprising, since Blizzard has already done a Halloween event and even a Summer Games event, giving the game a visual makeover to fit the respective themes. With that level of success, it will be no surprise at all that the developer will continue the trend this time with an “Overwatch” Christmas event. The timing seems to be in place as well as the game publisher has previously confirmed that new modes and new maps will soon be added into the game. There’s still over 150 different sound files to uncover, and while they may present a clearer picture as they become revealed, we still won’t have official confirmation from Blizzard until they’re ready to reveal it. It’s also reported that Blizzard is set to introduce a brand new Overwatch feature, but this one is intended for single player only. This barrier replaces her Photon shield, and allows her to generate a large energy barrier that blocks enemy fire. As we stumble like zombies to all the stores and their Black Friday sales, we hear the first jingles of Christmas music stirring our inner gift-giving. Overwatch will contend in a few days for the title of Game of the Year, along with many other wonderful titles.
The Windows/PC format of “Overwatch: Origins Edition” has been slashed by 40%.
Overwatch is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
