Blood Rocks are now slightly less ridiculous to get in Bloodborne
A new update for PlayStation 4 exclusive Bloodborne has been released that, among other things, should make it easier to max out weapons in the role-playing game. This should make it easier for players to upgrade weapons, so long as they’re okay grinding for insight.
Publisher Sony Computer Entertainment recently released the changelog for the 1.09 update of “Bloodborne”, Dualshockers reports.
Several weapons’ stamina and strength cost will be adjusted with the update, but Sony did not mention specifics. This new update is now live and should be downloadable on the PS4.
There were very rare instances of folks finding a Blood Rock in one of the procedurally-generated Chalice Dungeons, but such instances were extraordinarily rare and allegedly limited to once per save file.
Players would need to to struggle through NG+ if they wished to max a second weapon, which isn’t ideal when you consider Bloodborne’s punishing difficulty.
Several other fixes and adjustments have been made.
Additionally, the amount of Insight to purhcase Blood Stone Chunks has been reduced from 30 to 20.
Unfortunately, Blood Rocks will run about 60 Insight apiece, which is quite expensive.
Another major change to the Insight shop is the availability of the Blood Rock as a purchasable item. Some of you may remember that the 1.08 notes were delayed hours after the maintenance and nobody knew what had changed.
