Bloomberg considers entering USA presidential race
“The way I read with he said is if I didn’t get the nomination, he might consider it”, Clinton said. If Trump wins the Republican nomination and draws Bloomberg into the race, Sanders could get a boost from the so-called plebs and the proletariat displeased about two billionaire plutocrats in the fray. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) are candidates in the Democratic primary for 2016.
If Hillary Clinton were to get the Democratic nomination, Bloomberg might think differently, but her winning the nomination wouldn’t preclude a bid from him. While the prospect of Bloomberg launching a third-party presidential campaign has been speculated about for years, he’s largely unknown to many Americans and would be entering the race well after his rivals started introducing themselves to voters.
When Bloomberg left the post 12 years later, NY was thriving, by most measures: the economy was robust, crime was down, the transportation system more efficient, and a budget deficit estimated at more than US$3 billion ($4.6 billion) when he took over transformed into a US$2.4 billion surplus. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) was unnecessary. Ted Cruz, of Texas, emerges as the party’s nominee.
“Maybe we could have a more serious debate instead of, you know, some of the things we see”, Mr Kasich is quoted as saying.
Trump, 69, a real-estate mogul and onetime reality TV star, said that Bloomberg “might very well get in the race”.

Trump noted that he and Bloomberg had differences on the issues of gun control and abortion and that he would love to run against him.
Bush said he is confident the election process will work, and a viable candidate will be selected by the party. “I would personally like to compete with Michael Bloomberg”, Trump told CBS’ “Face the Nation” in a phone interview Sunday morning. I don’t know if he’s going to do it but I hope he does.
Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida dismissed Mr. Bloomberg as a “private citizen who owns a big company”.
Bloomberg was mayor of New York City for three consecutive terms, beginning in 2001.
Mr Trump’s campaign was hit by another controversy as the candidate declared at a rally: “I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters”.
His decision will be based in large part on the state of the Democratic and Republican primaries after the Super Tuesday contests on March 1, the confidant said. The media baron’s key concern appears to be Trump’s stronghold on the GOP and the steady erosion in Clinton’s popularity due to a rise in Sanders’ poll ratings.
