Blount just misses in finals of ‘America’s Got Talent’
British ventriloquist Paul Zerdin has bagged $1m (£645,000) prize by coming top on the USA talent show. The telecast also includes performances by the 10 remaining acts in the competition and marks the last chance for America to vote for their favorite act.
Country singer Benton Blount is one of the most likable contestants on Season 10 of America’s Got Talent. With the victory, Zerdin earns a $1 million check, and he’ll also headline “America’s Got Talent Live” in Las Vegas from October. 22 to 24. Ticket information is available at www.AGTVegas.com.
Auditions for the next season of America’s Got Talent will begin on November 7 in Detroit followed by tryouts in New York, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, San Diego, Los Angeles and other cities.

While the CraigLewis Band and Drew Lynch seemingly fall somewhat into the middle as well, some AGT fans think they had standout performances Monday and could be contenders when it’s all said and done.
Spice Girl Mel B, also a judge, said that Zerdin was “flawless”.
