Blue Bell ice cream rests on a grocery store shelf in Lawrence, Kan.

Blue Bell is chock full of good news lately.
Blue Bell voluntarily recalled ALL of its products back in April, after issuing a recall of select products a month earlier.
Even when production and retail sales resume, there are reports the “Little Creamery in Brenham” will only have 10 flavor choices.
The production is being done on a limited basis in order to test and monitor new procedures, enhancement and training. The company shut the plants down to clean and sanitize its three factories until there were no more traces of listeria and to reconfigure the facilities to eliminate conditions that have allowed listeria to grow and thrive in the factories.
Blue Bell Creameries products were linked to three deaths in Kansas and seven other cases of listeria illness earlier this year.
