The seventh inning of the decisive Game 5 of the AL Division Series might have been one of the wildest in baseball inning, as the Toronto Blue Jays held on to beat the Texas Rangers 6-3.
The benches cleared twice during the 53-minute inning.
The Jays are the 15th team in Major League Baseball history to force a Game 5 in a best-of-five series when down 0-2. The others were the 2001 New York Yankees and the 2012 San Francisco Giants. Right-hander Roberto Osuna struck out four in 1 2/3 innings for the save.
Marcus Stroman, who tore a ligament in his left knee during a spring training fielding drill in March, will get the ball when the Blue Jays host the Texas Rangers in a winner-take-all affair on Wednesday afternoon. The Blue jays have not disclosed the reason for his absence.

Cherry also had an issue with a replay review that was upheld in the 14th inning that eventually led to Texas’ winning run.
