Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Condition Worsens; Moved to Hospice Care
“I have worked closely with both of them and we all want the very best for Bobbi Kristina”.
Calls to Gordon’s lawyer weren’t returned.
He posted a message to his Twitter account that didn’t mention the lawsuit, but said, in part: “We keep praying”.
Since then, doctors have tried bringing her back to consciousness but her condition has continued to deteriorate.
Gordon was hit with the lawsuit the same day as Brown was moved to a hospice care facility after almost five months in a coma.
Aunt Pat Houston released a statement revealing Whitney Houston’s only child has been moved into hospice care.
The statement added the Houston family thanks “everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now“.
The complaint, obtained by Us Weekly, accuses Gordon, 25, of dragging Bobbi Kristina upstairs by her hair, withdrawing her funds without authorization, and knocking out her teeth just hours before she was discovered face down and unresponsive in a bathtub on January 31.
Brown is also the daughter of singer Bobby Brown.
Gordon was partly raised by Houston in her household as an informally adopted son.
A family friend says he’s not welcome in Brown’s hospital room, and he has not seen her since that night in January. She was hospitalized and placed on life support, but moved to a rehab center in March.
The suit claims that on Jan.31, the morning of the accident, Brown became embroiled in a loud argument with Gordon.
Police have said they are treating Brown’s case as a criminal investigation. News via his lawyer: “Unless you hear it directly from me or through my attorney, don’t believe any words attributed to me”.
Brown family sources have told TMZ that a brain specialist was consulted in Chicago last week, who allegedly said that Bobbi had “no hope” of waking up out of the coma, which allegedly led to the family discussion about Bobbi Kristina’s care.
Bobbi Kristina’s mother, Whitney Houston, passed away three years ago on February 11, 2012. Heart disease and cocaine use were listed as contributing factors.
