Bobbi Kristina Brown’s funeral sparks family drama
R&B singer Bobby Brown leaves a funeral service for his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown Saturday, August 1, 2015, in Alpharetta, Ga.
During the private service, Brown screamed out at Houston, one of Bobbi Kristina’s aunts by marriage, according to Us Weekly.
Her collapse comes in the wake of the devastated musician breaking down as he left the reception on Saturday following the funeral of his daughter Bobbi Kristina.
“It’s just getting started”, she said. Instead of flowers, Pat asked funeral attendees to donate to her charity, The Marion P. Foundation. Tyler Perry, Whitney’s longtime friend, was seen swiftly jumping into action, calming Leolah down before helping escort her outside. “Pat you know you are wrong for this!” But Pat Houston has – this is going to be a long, drawn-out thing.
A memorial service in suburban Atlanta for Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of the late superstar Whitney Houston and ex-husband Bobby Brown, has ended. The number of guests at her funeral was not known, but the entertainment news portal TMZ.com reported that only a few were invited. “As she has not even sat down & spoken to my brother Bobby, who is Bobbi Kristina’s father, about this”.
A short line of cars followed the hearse that took Bobbi Kristina Brown’s body to St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta Saturday.
Leolah also posted several angry messages on Facebook, most notably accusing Houston of wanting to take Bobbi off life support because it cost “too much money to keep her alive.” Authorities said cocaine abuse and heart disease contributed to her death.
Bobby Brown was by her side at the time.
“It’s sad, especially for her. I feel bad for her and her mother, the family, Bobby Brown, Cissy Houston I really do feel bad for them”, said Gregory.
Leolah Brown then walked outside to address the media.
Despite all the drama there were some touching moments during the service too from family members and a respectful speech from the Reverend Michael McQueen.
