Bobby Brown feels ‘completely numb’ after death of daughter
“Our loss is unimaginable”, he told ET.
Bobby Brown spoke out Monday about the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown, his only child with the late Whitney Houston.
Her death cut short the dreams she had of following in her mother’s footsteps by pursuing a career in music and acting.
An initial autopsy on Bobbi Kristina Brown shows “no obvious underlying cause of death”, according to Georgia authorities.
The medical examiner says interpreting autopsy findings will also be challenging, but said it could be helpful to address questions about what caused her to become unresponsive.
No death certificate would be issued or a cause of death stated until additional laboratory tests are complete “and all investigative, medical, and other documentary records are received and thoroughly reviewed”, the statement said.
The 46-year-old singer was by his little girl’s bedside when she passed away on Sunday after spending almost six months in a comatose state. Gordon said at the time it seemed Bobbi Kristina wasn’t breathing and lacked a pulse before help arrived.
Kristen Foster, a representative for the Houston family, said she was “finally at peace”.
Efforts to wean Brown from the medication led to seizures and she was once again placed in a coma.
Bobby Brown’s attorney, Christopher Brown, added, “Krissy fought to get well for months, however she has succumb to her injuries”.
Bobby Brown has spoken out about his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, who died on Sunday at age 22. “She’s in much better hands now”.
The day before she was found in the bath, Brown had tweeted: “Let’s start this career up&&moving OUT to TO YOU ALLLL quick shall we!?!???!”
Bobbi Kristina’s parents separated in 2006 and divorced in 2007, with Houston awarded custody of their daughter, amid claims of abuse and drug use in the high-profile relationship.
We send our prayers to the Houston and Brown families during the hard time.
