Bobby Shmurda Might Be Released From Prison Really Soon
According to reports, Shmurda’s family has helped come up with the $2 million bond needed for Shmurda’s freedom. An aunt reportedly put up several properties as collateral.
Bobby Shmurda is slowly dipping off into irrelevancy thanks to an unfortunate prison lock-up, right around the time his career was sky-rocketing.
After being incarcerated for nearly a year and being denied bail five times, Bobby Shmurda may be coming home as soon as tomorrow (Dec. 3).
In addition, Shmurda’s attorneys have put together a 200-page document listing every single penny of their bond package. They’re reportedly looking to present this to a judge soon.
The “Hot Ni**a” rapper and members of his GS9 crew were arrested back in December 2014 and he’s been in jail ever since.
Shmurda’s family has been working with Ira Judelson, a New York City bondsman well known to celebrity and other high-profile cases.
While that news is enough to provide some optimism, Shmurda’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, has not commented on the matter. Shmurda’s trial is set to begin on February 22 of the new year.
