Body found in search for missing tourists

A police-led search along the Kepler Track for two missing Canadian student holidaymakers has resulted in a man’s body being found.
Police conducted an aerial search on Sunday and spotted the body about 350 metres below the track, between the Hanging Valley Hut and the Iris Burn Hut.
Police are hunting for two missing Canadian tourists who have gone missing in the South Island.
The two young men travelled on a bus on July 7 to get to Te Anau and they were planning to go hiking in the Fiordland National Park.
Authorities in New Zealand have been unable to retrieve the unidentified body due to unfavourable weather conditions.
His identity hasn’t been confirmed.
Police Search and Rescue Squad and the Queenstown Combined Investigation Unit staff are both involved.
