Boko Haram Militants Flee Camps in Northeast Nigeria, Army Says

The village is in the Lake Chad region near the border with Nigeria, where Boko Haram first launched its insurgency six years ago.
The Sunday’s attacks near the town of Mora, in Kanfaleri village, were carried out by two teenage girls. In December 2013, Boko Haram destroyed two helicopter gunships and three fighter jets in northeastern Maiduguri city.
Rescuers have evacuated the wounded to an overwhelmed local hospital, a security source said, adding that 10 people were in “very critical” condition.
One of the blasts targeted the fish market at Baga Sola while the other two occurred at a refugee camp on the outskirts of the city.
Niger, Nigeria, Benin, Cameroon and Chad have agreed to establish an 8,700-strong multinational force to take on the militants, though its formation has been delayed.
