Ex-shadow cabinet minister, Owen Smith and ex-shadow business secretary, Angela Eagle, have said they will both challenge Jeremy Corbyn to be the new Labour leader.
With only the top jobs decided so far, it is not clear if Brexit supporter James Dudderidge, who now has the overseas territories brief, will keep his junior post at the FCO.
Britain will be in a position to trigger the official process to leave the European Union “before or by the start of next year”, the newly appointed Brexit Secretary has said.

She will return to No 10 as the country’s second female prime minister, following in the footsteps of Margaret Thatcher.
“It doesn’t get her out of the responsibility for whatever happens with Brexit, but she’s at least dipped their hands in the blood”, said Tim Bale, professor of politics at Queen Mary, University of London.

He left the chamber to applause from all sides of the House and a standing ovation from his Conservative colleagues.
He ended by referring to a jibe he directed at then-Prime Minister Tony Blair more than a decade ago: “He was the future once”.
Earlier yesterday, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and European Parliament President Martin Schulz also urged May not to delay the Brexit divorce proceedings.
In a direct message to voters, she said: “I know you are working around the clock, I know you are doing your best and I know that sometimes life can be a struggle”.
