Boston Celtics 2015-16 Schedule Released
All in all Boston Celtics’ game schedule for this season does not look like the rollercoaster ride that was last season, which started as one of the toughest in the league until Christmas, but ended with a nice downhill ride from the All-Star break.
The first appearance comes on November 24th, when the Celtics travel to Atlanta to play the Hawks. Tickets for preseason games played at TD Garden will go on sale in September.
The Celtics finish their pre-season schedule in Manchester, New Hampshire when they face the 76ers on October 23rd.
Wednesday, March 9 vs. Houston at 7 p.m.: The Sixers young frontcourt of Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor locks horns with three-time Defensive Player of the Year Dwight Howard. Prized free agent acquisitions LaMarcus Aldridge and David West will help take the onus off the aging core of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginoboli.
Rose and Zumoff brought life to Sixers action the past four seasons and showed exuberance from the start of their time together on-air despite the recent lacking on-court product. It will be interesting to see what the Kings look like at that point of the season.
Rajon Rondo will be in town with Sacramento on Feb7.
Come at the king: In a rematch of their playoff sweep, the Celtics host the Cavaliers on December 15 in LeBron James’ only trip to Boston in 2015-16. Somebody please get a picture of Kelly Olynyk in a sombrero.
– Kevin Garnett returns as a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday, December 21, 2015.
Tuesday, Dec. 1 vs. L.A. Lakers at 7 p.m.: Outside of the Pope, local legend Kobe Bryant, who last played at the Sixers home arena in December of 2012, may be Philly’s most anticipated guest. He won’t be able to have breakfast with Rondo this time around, so he’ll have to settle for a bite around town with Brandon Bass. Pierce acknowledged that he’s likely to finish his playing career in Los Angeles after signing a three-year deal with the Clippers this summer.
February 19 at Utah: Danny Ainge may not be as active on the trade front as he’s been the last two seasons, but the first contest after the trade deadline is always one to circle. We’ll know for sure when the Celtics suit up for this Friday night matchup.
The defending champion Warriors make their only tour through Boston on December. 11, and the Celtics visit Golden State on April 1.
