Bow Wow retiring from rap, says next album will be his last
Shad Moss, who now raps as Bow Wow, has announced his retirement from music.
The 29-year-old, born Shad Moss, and known for his tunes “Bounce With Me”, and “Puppy Love”, said he’s retiring because he can’t see himself at “30 years old rapping”.
Moss’s fans shared their disappointment but also a fair share of support for the artist.
The rapper revealed that his last album will be called NYLTH, which will be executive-produced with the help of Snoop Dogg.
Twitter immediately went in on Moss, who is also an actor and last appeared as Brody Nelson on “CSI: Cyber”.
He started out as Lil Bow Wow, then dropped the “Lil” when he matured and moved into acting and now he’s hanging it up entirely.
The entertainer took the comments in stride, tweeting, “Its a blessing to have made millions and can retire before 30”.
Bow Wow has announced that he is officially retiring from music. “I mean im extremely happy”.
Bow Wow began rapping at age six and attracted the attention of Snoop Dogg, who gifted him with the name Lil Bow Wow. “It’s only right I involve [Snoop] and end it with him”. NYLTH, due later this year, will be his final album.
The “Like Mike” actor told fans he will focus on “hosting and acting” after his retirement, claiming that he’s now producing two unnamed TV shows this year.
In those weekend tweets of his, he rattled off all his accomplishments, which you have to admit are pretty impressive.
