Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller Are Cooking, Possibly Romancing in the New Movie
Scripted by Steven Knight (Locke) and Michael Kalesniko (Iron Sky), the film stars Bradley Cooper as Adam Jones, a temperamental, entitled two-star Michelin chef whose rockstar behavior cost him everything. On the verge of self-destruction, and having lost his prized restaurant, he manages to step back and refocus his efforts and skill into bagging a third elusive star. I guess we’ll find out soon.
Indeed, the movie focuses on the chef, played by Cooper, who goes on a culinary quest to earn his third Michelin star.
In “Burnt”, a remarkably funny and emotional story about the love of food, the love between two people and the power of second chances, Jones moved to Paris at an early age of 16 and learned how to cook.
Awarded as a two-star Michelin talent with bad habits to match, the former enfant terrible of the Paris restaurant scene did everything different every time out, and only ever cared about the thrill of creating explosions of taste.
The movie also has Omar Sy, Daniel Brühl, Matthew Rhys, Alicia Vikander, Uma Thurman and Emma Thompson in supporting roles. However, it will also be a redemption story for Bradley Cooper, who is no stranger to the heat of a kitchen.
As a little fun fact, this is not the first time Cooper has been in a kitchen: he played celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain in the 2005 13-episode FOX sitcom Kitchen Confidential.
“Burnt” opens October 28 in cinemas nationwide from Pioneer Films.
