The actor, of course, starred as U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle in “American Sniper”, which, to no one’s surprise, became the go-to movie at conservative sleepovers.

Cooper, however, has always been a Democratic supporter, having made a donation to Hillary Clinton’s 2000 Senate campaign, and again in 2008 for her presidential campaign, the Daily Beast points out. And lots of folks jumped on that.
In the most compelling demonstration of the failings of the American education system yet, many confused Republicans expressed their outrage that their hero would dare support a Democratic candidate.
Kyle was a ‘fervent Republican, ‘ according to a profile in The New Yorker. To back up its claim, it referenced just two Twitter posts – both of them from that same group of three.
First off, kids: Movies are not real. The cable network ran one tweet to reflect “a bunch of people”, and again it was from that same group of three. Bradley Cooper also played an anti-Semite who ends up in a body brace after trying to suck his own d– on Nip/Tuck, but I’d venture to guess this does not resemble the man IRL.
