Brandon Browner Receives Super Bowl Ring, Nice Note From Robert Kraft
With his physicality, airtight coverage, and big-playmaking ability, cornerback Brandon Browner was a huge difference-maker on the Patriots defense during their Super Bowl run last season. His Super Bowl XLIX ring was delivered to him and the best part about the package was a kind handwritten note from Pats owner Robert Kraft.
The Seahawks didn’t win back-to-back Super Bowl championships, but one of their former players did.
“Thank you for your contribution to this championship team and great service to our franchise”, the typewritten letter said.
Browner signed with the New Orleans Saints this off-season, and didn’t attend the Patriots’ ring ceremony last month after helping them to a title.
“I’m truly sorry you left us”, Kraft wrote.
Browner and Darrelle Revis spent just one season in New England, leaving the Patriots to scramble for cornerback help in the offseason.
