Bravo Expands ‘Real Housewives’ Franchise with Dallas & Potomac Spinoffs
Bravo announced on Wednesday that they will be airing two new Housewives franchises in 2016, “with two new lavish and picturesque locales”, promising to bring all the drama that fans fell in love with from veterans like NeNe Leakes and Teresa Giudice.
Featuring an eclectic group of six stunners, including worldwide model Katie Rost and National Basketball Association WAG Charrisse Jackson Jordan, the standout socialites and former pageant queens will shake up Maryland in more ways than one.
The Real Housewives of Potomac premieres Sunday, January 17 at 9/8c, with Dallas premiering later in 2016.
Later this year, The Real Housewives of Dallas will debut to give the series a Texas twist. No cast members have been announced for The Real Housewives of Dallas. Other entries in the franchise are set in NY City, Atlanta, New Jersey and Beverly Hills.
Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise is moving to two new cities.
“The Real Housewives has become a global phenomenon that drives cultural conversation while consistently breaking ratings records”, said Shari Levine, Executive Vice President, Current Production, Bravo Media.
E! News confirmed last week that Dallas would be joining the Real Housewives family.
