Bret Bielema has turned down recruits based on Twitter handles, pictures

Spurrier is 70, the oldest coach in the SEC and 25 years Bielema’s senior.

“We still haven’t won on the road”, Bielema said.

Williams was recently named to the SEC preseason All-SEC team, joining five other teammates on the three lists (Collins, tight end Hunter Henry, offensive linemen Dan Skipper, Denver Kirkland, and Sebastian Tratola).

At Texas A&M, coach Kevin Sumlin said he hired John Chavis away from LSU because his Aggies had trouble scoring against Chavis’ defense. That’s just how Bielema wants it. After we were 7-6, we went on to win 10 games every year, three straight (conference) championships and have a lot of success.

Despite the successful closing stretch, Bielema is essentially continuing to send the same message, because in his mind the program hasn’t arrived yet.

From 0-8 to 2-6 to SEC West contender?
