With BB co-star, Narinder Kaur, as one of Dowling’s bridesmaids – the event is expected to be graced by celebrities such as X Factor’s Louis Walsh, Girls Aloud star Kimberly Walsh, Vernon Kay and Tess Daly.

Meanwhile, Brian kicked off his day by hitting the treadmill at the hotel gym, sharing a snap of the machine’s home screen alongside the caption, “My morning view @powerscourthotel A quick run is required to start my Wedding Day!#love #groom #itstoday”. Brian and his new husband will be kitted out in designer suits as they walk down the aisle.

Former Big Brother host Brian Dowling is to Wednesday to dancer Arthur Gourounlian in a symbolic ceremony in the Republic of Ireland today.

The reality TV veteran is said to have shed an impressive three stone in the run-up to his nuptials and has been working hard to look his best for his big day.

The couple have taken to social media to keep the public updated – with Dowling posting pictures of himself and his bridesmaids getting pampered and prepped for the big day.

Former Big Brother housemate and (albeit woefully briefly) BB presenter Brian Dowling is marrying his fiancé Arthur Gourounlian today in a lavish ceremony in Brian’s native Ireland, where same-sex marriage was legalised just a few weeks ago.

He also recently revealed that the couple legally got married in London earlier this Summer, in case Ireland’s same sex legislation was not passed.

He explained, “We didn’t know how the law would go in Ireland”, before adding that this time around, it’s going to be a real celebration to which all of his friends and family are invited. We wanted to make sure we got it right.
