Brian Kelly Comments on Notre Dame’s Loss to NC State
Quarterback DeShone Kizer, who said earlier in the week he could “rip it just the same” despite the conditions, could never quite get a good hold on the ball.
The NC State Wolfpack are hosting the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in college football action on Saturday.
Somehow we have gotten to this point, the point where the NC State Wolfpack are favored in a game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
“I’d hear about them all the time growing up, and see them on TV with their gold helmets, ” Harmon said. “We still had 38 carries”.
“We are very good at moving the ball and throwing the football in most conditions – unless the wind becomes at a point where the ball just can’t be moved through the air”, he said. In my prediction post yesterday the forecast didn’t look this bad, but with the latest forecast let’s just say that I am not almost as confident in my prediction as I was when I wrote that post.

Doeren said the Wolfpack has focused more on itself in preparation for today than on Notre Dame. State fumbled on its next snap.
“It was definitely hard”, Hunter Jr. said.

Kizer finished the game 9-of-26 for 54 yards and one interception.
Notre Dame’s seven remaining opponents are a combined 21-8 – including Navy, Army and Virginia Tech all at 3-1. If running back Matt Dayes, who is averaging more than 100 rushing yards per game, is able to soften Notre Dame on the ground, more success could be waiting for Finley this week as he faces the country’s 106th-ranked pass defense.
