Bridgeport police searching for woman after attempted abduction of teen
Police said the teenager was shaken up, but not seriously injured.
On October 5, around 7:15 a.m., police responded to reports of an attempted abduction at the corner of Boston Avenue and Palisade Avenue. The teen was walking to school early Monday morning when police say the driver of a charcoal gray Toyota lured her into the auto, and started assaulting her. The victim managed to bail and call police.
A 17-year-old girl bailed out of a auto in Bridgeport, Connecticut after a woman lured her into it and assaulted her, according to police.
Police said the auto made a U-turn, and drove east on Boston Avenue after the girl jumped to safety.
The driver was described as a Hispanic woman approximately in her 40s with black hair in a ponytail, freckles on her face and was wearing a back leather jacket at the time. It’s unknown if the teen knew her attacker. The Yaris had its bumper missing, and you could see Styrofoam.
Police say the Boston Ave. area had heavy traffic at the time of the incident and are asking for help in identifying the driver and the vehicle.
