Brie Larson Talks About Auditioning for a Fish Stick Commercial

“The thing I love about movie making is how many people it takes to make it”, Larson said, thanking everyone involved in making and supporting the film.
Critics raved over Larson’s raw chemistry with Tremblay, her ability to draw him out and cultivate a believable rapport. Before bagging her Oscar Larson was in the cult classic (and melty favorite) Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Ben Stiller’s Greenberg and 21 Jump Street.
Larson plays Joy – or “Ma”, as her son, Jack, calls her – in Lenny Abrahamson’s harrowing drama, based on Emma Donoghue’s novel of the same name.
Larson has been in the industry from last two decades since she was a child but her part in “Room” has catapulted to fame and the Oscar is likely to give her career further boost.
In a funnyInstagram snap from theVanity Fair after-party, Larson can be seen posing with a massive burger (looks good, girl!), and a pair of beat up Converse sneakers. He heard about Larson’s performance in the indie film from an assistant in his office.
Host Chris Rock opened the 2016 Oscars ceremony with his powerful opening monologue touching on Diversity, New Black Categories, and Oscar Fashion.
The former singer’s songs include She Said, which mirrors an Avril Lavigne-like clip, the 2005 hit “Done with Like”, and of course the honest high school reflection, “Finally Out of P.E”.
That outfit wasn’t something that would make her feel sexy, Larson said.
“I just felt he completely understood the book and everything that I meant to put in it, so I knew the book would be safe in his hands and he’d make a great film of it”. The now 26-year-old then landed the role of Courtney Enders, the sister of Beverly Mitchell’s Erica, in Disney Channel’s 2003 original movie Right on Track. “Another cause. I don’t really enjoy the attention to be on me”.
