Bright and bold: Bills-Jets wearing ‘Color Rush’ uniforms
Thursday’s game was the first of four Thursday night matchups this season using the “Color Rush” gear.
Buffalo Bills played in all red in their 22-17 win over the NY Jets, who were clad in all green for the match at MetLife Stadium as part of an experiment to spice up the viewer experience.
The promotion will expand next season, when every team will wear the alternate uniforms on Thursday nights. The above-video is what the game looked like to the portion of the world (250 million worldwide with 8 percent of all men and 0.5 percent of women) who have a mutated cone-receptor-to-brain connection-the cause for colorblindness.
“If you are colorblind like me this @NFL game is going to be hard to follow”, wrote former Tampa Bay Buccaneers kicker Lawrence Tynes on his Twitter page.
Several teams are getting “new looks” and the Jaguars will wear their new uniforms on Thursday, November 19, when they host the Tennessee Titans. You can see what the jerseys and trousers look like in these photos from the Jags’ website. Oh shoot, that’s us’. “I might go with that instead of the blue one”.
“You know what, when 300 pounds are chasing you, you don’t even recognize that”, McCoy said.
“I like the red”, Bradham said. But I like the alternate colors, being able to switch it up and stuff like that.
