Brock Lesnar Got Squashed To Stage Goldberg’s Royal Rumble Return
Regarded as one of the four big pay-per-view events in the WWE calendar, this year’s Survivor series takes place on Sunday, November 20. Whether or not Brock Lesnar will have been last, we’ll have to wait and find out.
Goldberg put down Lesnar in less than two minutes, stunning the crowd.
Could this feud lead Lesnar and Goldberg to WrestleMania 33 in Orlando next year? “When Bill agreed to stay the idea was, “let’s book the match to get Bill over”.
While there has been no direct timings for the fights, Survivor Series lasts four hours and the main event is always last.
This year’s Royal Rumble is set for January 29, 2017, and it will emanate live from the Alamodome in San Antonio.
Now, after “Survivor Series”, Goldberg is 2-0 versus Lesnar.
The Rumble match will also help cover up his deficiencies as a grappler.
“I thought maybe they were going to go to the Royal Rumble and do a one-on-one match again with Brock and Goldberg”. Lesnar went mostly through his hype man, Paul Heyman who also did a masterful job of building up the event. As it was mentioned earlier, Goldberg is confirmed for the Royal Rumble match.
According to a recent article by the Inquisitr, the WWE is actually planning for Goldberg to try and gain one more championship in the company.
The “Beast Incarnate” was then easily thrown to the ground, before successive crushing spears by Goldberg left the seemingly indestructible Lesnar ready for a Jackhammer.
While Goldberg hasn’t been officially signed for Wrestlemania 33, it wouldn’t be surprising if he had one more match with Lesnar, perhaps with Brock putting his career on the line for one more shot.
Brock Lesnar is one of the most popular WWE superstars and is one of the most impressive wrestlers in the wrestling franchise.
