Brock Lesnar will be WWE 2K17’s cover athlete
Wrestling fans take note: The next WWE title from 2K Games is going to feature Brock Lesnar on the cover. Lesnar seems pretty excited about the opportunity, too, since he called WWE Games out on Twitter by saying they “finally wised up and put The Beast on the cover of #WWE2K17”.
Brock Lesnar will be the cover athlete for the upcoming WWE 2K17. Goldberg will also be a downloadable exclusive. “WWE 2K17” is in stores October 11 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. I have a primo gig: I serve as the advocate for Brock Lesnar and I happen to be able to do that on television as well, and I think WWE is best served with me in that role.
Lesnar, 38, was last seen on WWE television when he defeated current WWE World Heavyweight champion Dean Ambrose in a No Holds Barred match at WrestleMania 32.
As noted, Brock Lesnar is scheduled to make his Octagon return at UFC 200, fighting Mark Hunt on the July 9th pay-per-view, before returning back to WWE, where he is scheduled to perform at their annual SummerSlam pay-per-view. Lesnar quickly became one of the organizations biggest stars. As the “advocate” for Lesnar states in the press release, having Lesnar grace the cover of WWE 2K17 is a huge thing for everybody involved. The developers of the game will be adding in Goldberg for every pre-order purchase of the game but since that promo would not be available in India, a chance to be included to a meet and greet with Del Rio would suffice.
