Broncos DE Derek Wolfe Says He Hates Everything About the Patriots

That wasn’t the only fundamental skill the Broncos worked on as they prepared for Sunday’s AFC championship game against New England. With that said, I don’t believe the Denver offense can score enough points against the New England defense to make up for the shortcomings of Peyton Manning at this point in his career.

And thanks to his defense, that will be Manning – the 39-year-old quarterback who was supposed to be on his way to a retirement party – and not Tom Brady playing in the Super Bowl two weeks from now.

The Chiefs got the touchdown they needed, but all through the game, especially in the second half, it felt like New England would be getting the points they needed whenever they wanted to. T.J. Ward said he’ll go high or low, whatever it takes. Not only is Harper off the roster, but the combination of Danny Amendola, Keyshawn Martin, and Julian Edelman are battle-tested and reliable when it comes to the return game. It’s never really been broken down. “We’ve helped him have a lot of those guys, but Edelman sure fits in that mold”. Some were more confident than others but what they all have in common is that the patriots are definitely going to win.

On Saturday, defensive end Derek Wolfe added to the war of words when he told the Denver Post: “I hate everything about them”. A trip to Super Bowl 50 is on the line, and though Manning is a shell of his former self, No. 1-seeded Denver has a real shot to beat No. 2-seeded New England, no matter what Vegas says.

On the other hand, the Colts entered the game with a 2-0 record and looked like a juggernaut.

Both teams have a resilient and tenured quarterback under center, with Newton able to run like a power back and Palmer being a classic drop-passer. Manning will have to look down the barrel of a defense that has stolen his glory numerous times in his career. “There’s plenty of balls that I didn’t get to bring in, so there’s always something to work for and you can always be better”.
