Broncos To Start Trevor Siemian At Quarterback In 3rd Preseason Game

Admit it: You’re thinking the same thing I’m thinking. Same thing through early summer and through the middle of this month. If the Broncos are serious about a division title, playoffs, and championship then benching Siemian is the only logical solution, but if they are looking towards the future, not caring about wins/losses then yes he deserves to start.

The smart money is on either Mark Sanchez or Trevor Siemian jogging out with the first-string offense and a quick trigger finger by Kubiak, who will want some type of clarity heading into the final matchup of the preseason against the Cardinals and won’t be afraid to yank an underperformer.

Trevor Siemian, a seventh-round pick out of Northwestern in 2015, will make his second consecutive start on Saturday against the Rams, and now has the inside track for the Week 1 starting job.

Denver is set to take on the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday evening. As the starter of the third preseason game, Siemian would have to play badly to lose the job.
