Browns re-hire Horton as defensive coordinator
The deal to bring Horton back is done, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. They haven’t changed much since he left.

Horton was expected to come back to Cleveland after he didn’t get Tennessee’s coaching job.
Following that report, however, Horton refuted the information, saying that he was happy with the Titans and was even looking for an extension from the organization.
The Cleveland Browns added two more coaches to their staff on Wednesday and both were once coaches with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Browns finished ninth in yards allowed that season and 23rd in points per game.
Hours after Tennessee hired interim head coach Mike Mularkey to a permanent role, speculation arose that the request made by Horton was apparently due to him being “insulted” by the Titans.
When Jackson was let go after just one season, Saunders remained with Oakland from 2012-2014 as a senior offensive assistant.
Wilson coached Adrian Peterson and Minnesota’s running backs the past two seasons.
He was still guaranteed money from his previous contract with Cleveland.
Jackson will call his own plays, and Hamilton will coach the quarterbacks.
However, he will lean on Saunders, Wilson and Hamilton, whose title will be associate head coach/offense.
