Browns win with Manziel only showcases errors of head coach

These numbers won’t wow anybody, and the extra time Manziel has had over nearly two seasons surely benefit him over actual rookies.

Manziel made his fourth start of the season and took advantage of the best running game the Browns have had all year.

Yesterday’s matchup between the Cleveland Browns and the San Francisco 49ers featured plenty of surprises to say the least.

Still, the question begs to be asked: How could a team with one road win possibly be overconfident?

“Overall, he made good decisions, was accurate with the football and when he could stay in the pocket, he did and made plays, and there were times – we all saw – he has that special ability to extend the play and was able to do that numerous times with solid success”. With former starting quarterback Josh McCown down for the count with a season-ending injury (broken collarbone), it is Manziel’s opportunity to shine these final games of the season.
