Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Born to Run’ house up for sale
Springsteen has said before that he wrote every single song on Born to Run there, including the title track and songs “Thunder Road”, “Tenth Avenue Freeze-out”, “Jungleland”, and “Backstreets”.
“Born to Run” celebrated its 40th anniversary on August. 25 this year.
Springsteen, now 66, is still performing, and delighted Asbury Park fans with a surprise concert in July. For a mere $299,000, anyone can own the house where all eight songs for the 1975 rock classic album “Born To Run” were reportedly written, said the New York Daily News on Saturday, October 17. The three have owned Springsteen’s former residence since 2009. “We would hope someone would keep “the Bruce factor” in it”. It sold for $280,000 six years ago when it last went on the block. The plan was for Ryan to live in it while the trio worked together to renovate it.

The house does sometimes draw guests, and the present house owners say they struggle to accommodate the followers. Kim got divorced. Jerry was busy with his job. The 828-square-foot house is one story, with two bedrooms and one bathroom.
The expansive boxset will contain 52 tracks on four CDs with previously unreleased material featuring alongside four hours of never-before-seen video on three DVDs.
