Buddy Valastro Arrested for ‘Drunk Driving’
Buddy Valastro was arrested in early Thursday on 13th November, in New York City. He has been arrested against drunken driving charges. The Police revealed to NBC New York that the cake boss was seen driving erratically near Hudson Yards around 1 a.m.
He was driving his yellow colored Corvette along the 10th avenue. His car was not following the lane discipline and was seen going irregularly in the lanes. This was the time when police caught him. The star could not pass the ‘Field Sobriety tests’ and later accepted that he was indeed drunk. This is the first time when Valastro is been caught for first time but was booked for DWI.
Buddy Valastro expressed his feeling while talking with Us Weekly. He said, “To all my family, friends, fans and supporters, please know that I want to share and explain to you what happened today and I look forward to doing so at a later date. I appreciate your support and understanding as we handle things privately as a family. ”
The chef gained popularity through his reality show named Cake Boss, which was telecasted on TLC in the year 2009. Cooking may be runs in his family as he took over Valastro took over his family’s Hoboken-based bake shop, Carlo’s Bakery, which belonged to his family after his father’s death. As the show was a big hit, he opened many franchises which include Cake Boss Café, which is located in Times Square, in NYC.
The cook is a proud father of four kids. While talking to Cupid’s Pulse in the month of May he had talked about family values and also how his father made him “to look at the bigger picture.”
In a recent update he posted a picture from his bakery along with caption that says, “Here In Carlos bakery Marlton and what a great reaction from the community I love this place I feel at home here @carlosbakery.”
