Buhari is coming back to Nigeria Tomorrow

President Muhammadu Buhari, will on Monday, transit a letter to National Assembly on his return to his country on monday, thereby signaling his return to work formal.

Buhari left Abuja on January 19 for 10 days of treatment in Britain but extended his stay on the advice of doctors.

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari arrived home Friday after almost two months away on medical leave. He then flew to Abuja in a military helicopter.

President Buhari noted that the government would continue to discourage Nigerians from self-medication, urging those with discomforts to ensure they get proper diagnosis and doctor’s prescription for drugs. “There may, however, be need to have further follow-ups within some weeks”, said Buhari in a video shared on his Twitter account.

The country is now suffering from its worst economic crisis in years, following a sharp fall in the price of oil, its major export. The country is one of Africa’s biggest oil producers.

While speaking at the state house in Abuja, the president stressed how pleased he was with the Vice President, Prof.

The Nigerian president may have returned but already, there are conflicting reports concerning his health and whether he is fit to return. “The only thing I want to add is that Nigerians should thank God for returning him safely and those wishing him dead should desist from such wishful thinking”.
