Bulls’ Rose sustains orbital fracture

Fred Hoiberg had no timetable for Derrick Rose‘s return, after the point guard underwent successful surgery to fix a left orbital fracture Wednesday morning. Yes you read that correctly! And considering it’s not a knee or severe leg injury, there’s not the sadness that accompanies the usual Rose situation.
“I will be proven innocent”, he said. When the guy is on the court with no limitations, he can be an absolute nightmare. While it’s nowhere close to his MVP form, it is expected him to bounce back soon. But that’s another story for another day.
Rose contends that the acts she engaged in with the men were consensual. That’s what’s missing with Rose…CONSISTENCY!!
Playing in 51 games previous year, Rose spent more time on the court than he had since the 2010-2011 season.
He wasn’t in a dour mood by any stretch, but Hoiberg sounds fully indoctrinated into dealing with life without Rose-perhaps a bit too early for his liking.
Rose has been hindered by a series of knee injuries since winning the 2011 National Basketball Association Most Valuable Player Award. Rose needs a procedure to fix the injury, and it’s unknown when he’ll be able to return to the court. At the Bulls first practice! Should they shift focus to Jimmy Butler, hand him the keys, and present him as the team’s new building alpha male?
Derrick Rose suffered a facial injury Tuesday. Sean Highkin reported for the website that Hoiberg said the injury was not “structural damage” and that once things are “healed, he’ll be ready to go”. This Bulls team has been handicapped by Rose’s inability to perform on a regular basis. “It’s for P.J. (his son) and his future, so that’s what I’m thinking about now”.
The woman, referred to as Jane Doe, claims that shortly after ending a two-year relationship with Rose, she was invited to his Beverly Hills, CA home where she was allegedly drugged. “But we’ll evaluate that as we continue to get more information”. “I’ve just got to take this, use it as fuel and the season is around the corner”.
