Bungie release trailer for The Taken King reveal

The Taken King is the biggest expansion the title has received since launch and Bungie are keen to make clear that gamers understand how fundamentally the core experience will be transformed.
Ghost Shells and Class Armour contribute to your Defense figures, and also come with new perks. The idea is to take the guesswork out of the game and reduce the randomness. That is, until you’re overwhelmed by all the new content.
You were probably waiting all stream for them to confirm it, but they finally did.
Your Quest tab is where you’ll see bounties.
Players can now hold up to 16 Bounties at once.
Quest menu shows up to sixteen bounties, and the rewards for ongoing quests. There is actually a ton revealed in this teaser, if you go through shot by shot. The screen will allow you to see what’s next, and the rewards available.
Year two has taken some of the year one exotics and upgraded them.
“It’s using other higher level items as fuel to make your legendaries and exotics stronger”, Bungie said.
There’s a maximum of 200 at any one time, but no weekly cap. This means there’s a chance for an Exotic drop. Exotic weapon perks will be unlocked right away, meaning players will immediately figure out why these weapons are so powerful.
Meanwhile, Vault space has been doubled for weapons, and over doubled for Armor, with 72 slots available for each. “However, they also revealed that “Mayhem” is not yet a permanent part of the game and they will wait for the fans” reactions before deciding whether to keep it or not.
Materials can now be exchanged with your current faction for reputation gains. No more having to sacrifice valuable items!
Faction vendors have quests.
Vanguard and Crucible marks are replaced by a single new currency.
Dismantling a legendary item now give you legendary marks.
As we learned from Gamescom, Light Levels have been scrapped.
You take the Field Test Weapon into the world and use it to earn rep with the Gunsmith.
Every time you find an exotic its blueprint is added to your collection.
Bungie released a new teaser for Destiny: The Taken King which shows a lot about the upcoming expansion and what you can expect from it. The light levels still exist and the more you have determines the attack and defense potential of your character. It’ll be received from the Postmaster.
