Burger King’s Black Bun Whopper will Turn Your Poop Green

Halloween Whopper, the burger will cause your poop to come out green.

Comments on their Facebook page indicate many people have dealt with the “side effect” of the A.1.

Inspired by the restaurant chain’s Black Burger in Japan, the Halloween Whopper derives a “familiar and savoury” flavour from the smoky and peppery sauce that is baked into the bun. Mashable reports that people are tweeting about their “neon green” or “spooky green” poop, with a few going so far as to post toilet-bowl pictures, just in case no one believes them. “Like cartoon green. Comical green”. But I do like Burger King from time-to-time, and Halloween is tolerable, say, once or twice a year, depending on how good my costume is. “It was bomb tho”.

“That said, I advise eating more fruits and vegetables and foods which are free of additives whenever possible”, he said, adding that brightly colored stool lasting more than few days could mean something else, so check with your physician.

While the idea of your poop turning green isn’t that appealing, a few diners actually want to try the Halloween Whopper for that very reason.

While it sounds kind of gross, something scarier happens when your meal is finished…and so began the #GreenPoop hashtag.

A Burger King representative said the bun contains less than 1-percent food dye, and the dyes “are commonly used in the industry and approved by the Food and Drug Administration”. The company stated that they used bamboo charcoal to give the bun its color.
