Bush Mailer Has Weird Photo Gaffe
The mailer picture also shows the Republican candidate in front of a stock photo of the Cedar River in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Time reported. The super PAC hasn’t explained yet what happened.
IJReview emailed Right to Rise USA for clarification, but no response has been received as of publication.
However, observers were quick to point out that Bush’s left hand in one of the images had a far darker skin tone than the rest of his body.

It appears the super PAC superimposed Bush’s head and right hand on the body of an African American man. The question is: Why?
The photo was already altered to brighten Bush’s face, but a woman standing next to Bush overshadowed his left hand. The original campaign leaflet was sent by the Right to Rise USA Super PAC to some 86,000 Iowans, as Bush seeks to raise his game amid lackluster polling in the first-in-the-nation caucuses state. Bush’s campaign has not commented on the leaflet.
Federal Election Commission could be partly to blame.
Bush spokeswoman Kristy Campbell has said in the past that Bush is aware of the super PAC, but is not involved with the group.
