Bush: Redskins name shouldn’t change

That has extended the endless debate over the nickname, and it seems like this could be the start of 2016 presidential candidates giving their two cents on the matter. “Talk about backwards.” Exactly. So how is Bush going to pay to finance those tax cuts?
Environmental groups were not impressed by Bush’s proposals.
But let’s take a closer look.
Terry Kilgore, one of Walker’s Virginia co-chairmen, said that he signed up with Bush based on the former governor’s conservative record and an energy policy that he said would help the coal workers in Virginia. But as they say, the fruit never falls far from the tree, and Bush’s comments are consistent with those uttered by his father.
The Floridian’s assertions come in the wake of a Washington Post story that asserted that a few of his main donors had warned Bush to either demonstrate growth in the polls over the next month or expect notable defections among his supporters.
Since the federal government owns the land beneath the current Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium, the White House signaled it would oppose any effort to use the land for a new Redskins stadium, which Snyder wants, unless the name changes. If anyone is the beneficiary of “free stuff”, it was the slaveholders and the related corporations and governmental agencies, all of whom pocketed profits from the free labor of Black people in bondage.
Republicans are just more hypocritical about it.
The Washington Redskins remain the most high profile sports team to continue to rely on a racially insensitive moniker and emblem.
That should be perfectly obvious to anyone with eyes to see and ears to listen.
The New York Times has reported that, during his father’s 12 years in elected national office, Bush frequently sought (and obtained) favors for himself, his friends, and his business associates.
Bush has said: “Our message is one of hope and aspiration”. It’s that we know we have to work our asses off to overcome a system that for decades has institutionalized ways to keep us out of society. “We created the first statewide voucher program in the country, the second and the third”.
In response to the hundreds of tribes, tribal organizations, and tribal members suing, protesting, and speaking out, Snyder waged an all-out PR campaign to garner support and show dissension among Native peoples.
Bush’s suggestion that African Americans vote for Democrats because of handouts is flat-out wrong.
