Business Owners Encourage Local Shopping On Small Business Saturday

Between Black Friday and Cyber Monday comes Small Business Saturday.
“This year we are not offering a statement credit offer on Small Business Saturday”, the company said on the “Shop Small” section of its website.
Local businesses said small business Saturday was a success.

It was well known that the day after Thanksgiving was the biggest shopping day of the year for chain retailers, but locally owned businesses said they needed support, too.
The smell of local restaurants cooking up menu masterpieces filled the air as shoppers looked through the many shop windows.
