Bye-bye productivity: Google lets you play Solitaire, Tic-Tac-Toe with just a search
If you’re like me and you sometimes enjoy being entertained without investing much brain power, you’ll be pleased to know that Google has embedded two classic games into its search results.
Sure you have heard about, and may be even played some some of the in-built games on Google Search, especially when you didn’t have Internet access.
The ancient card game will now appear in your browser or on your mobile device when you search for “solitaire”, letting you while away a few minutes (or hours) shuffling cards around and trying to clear your table.
Google is known for being creative, but this move has got to be the best by Google in a long time. These are just a sample of the delightful surprises that await you on Google.
The Tic-Tac-Toe game, on the other hand, has both single and two-player modes. Each game allows you to pick the difficulty level, and with tic-tac-toe, you can also play against another player sitting next to you.
Of course, there is no shortage of websites and apps with these games, but having them in Google does save a bit of searching (and won’t take up precious storage space on your phone if you’re anxious about running out).
