Cabinet recommends dissolution of 15th Bihar Legislative Assembly
President Basistha Narayan Singh said inviting the Prime Minister was a political etiquette and it was now on him whether to come or not.

But the important fact here is that the party with the largest number of seats is Lalu Prasad Yadav’s party under whose rule, Bihar emerged as a jungle raj.
Nitish Kumar was a part of the NDA cabinet where Advani held the home portfolio.
Grand Secular Alliance has secured more than two-third majority winning 178 seats in the 243-member Bihar house. “During the campaign, local BJP leaders were sidelined and ignored”, he said. “The defeat of BJP is the defeat of divisive forces and ideology of saffron party”, said Choudhary.
Congress Legislature Party (CLP) had after a meeting onNovember 14 in Patna authorised party chief Sonia Gandhi and Rahul to chose a CLP leader and also take a decision on whether to join the Kumar-led government. It comes as a jolt to the grand alliance which was floated to counter the BJP in the state.
Asked to clarify what exactly an Â’adjustment or Â’maha-understanding would entail, Gogoi said, Â ” We will urge the people to vote for the Congress and if not for us, then at least not for the BJP.
