CHICAGO (AP) – Justin Upton hit a three-run home run in the 11th inning to lift the Detroit Tigers over the Chicago White Sox 5-3 on Monday for their 11th win in 14 games. With him he’s so tough because this year with as hard as he’s been throwing he’s been able to live at the top of the zone with the fastball.

Nate Jones relieved Sale in the ninth and pitched a no-hit scoreless inning with three strikeouts.

On Wednesday in Detroit, the Tigers walked off against closer David Robertson. “If somebody’s got really bad stats on a winning team, I’ll trade it with him”.
