Cadillac, LG to show futuristic new concept auto in Monterey
Cadillac will unveil a new concept vehicle on Thursday, August 18 during Monterey Car Week. Details are of course still under wraps, but as far as we can see from the featured teaser video we can see a very elegant dashboard layout consisting of wood trim and a very simple – yet high-tech – layout eschewing the myriad of buttons and knobs.
It’s already been a busy year for the Cadillac luxury brand and it’s about to get even busier.
Classic automobilia might be the primary focus of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, but that doesn’t stop automakers from rolling out extravagant concepts to grab the attention of affluent customers. The week includes a variety of vehicle shows, some featuring particular brands or countries of origin, and several major classic-car auctions.
What do you think of the Cadillac dash concept? McLaren says the race vehicle already has a single win to its name and is being further developed for racing in Europe.
Mercedes isn’t saying a lot about its concept, but with several automotive sites identifying it, the auto would mark the first time that the Maybach label has ventured out of sedans in the past few years.
