Caitlyn Jenner meets Chaz Bono in new I Am Cait clip

Caitlyn Jenner lastly meets Chaz Bono on I Am Cait.

Bono came out publically as a transgender man in 2009.

In the August. 16 episode of I Am Cait, Caitlyn Jenner, 65, visits an LGBT center in Los Angeles along with Chaz Bono, 46, who also went through his gender transition publicly.

Chaz – the only child of singers Cher and Sonny Bono – made history on Dancing With The Stars in 2011’s season 13, when he was the first transgender person to appear on an American network TV show for a reason other than sexuality.

In the end of this episode of I Am Cait, Caitlyn meets with Khloe in order to try to mend their relationship.

He had legally transitioned one year earlier, when a California court officially granted a name and gender change.

Caitlyn praises Chaz: “Your transition, which obviously I was watching and everybody else was watching”. Caitlyn tells the camera she’d been longing to satisfy fellow transgender show star Chaz after witnessing his transition from female to male.

“For the longest time I’ve wanted to talk to Chaz”, Caitlyn says.

Following months of speculation, Caitlyn – who was previously known as Bruce Jenner – publicly revealed her gender transition in an interview in April.

When meeting with Kim, following a nightmare Caitlyn has regarding not being able to flee from paparazzi at any given moment and subsequently giving them a story to spin about her, the middle Kardashian sister informs her former step-father that her Vanity Fair issue upset several members of the family, particularly Kendall and Kylie.

In her confessional, Cayne notes, “Cait she’s discovering this new life with me, which is kind of insane, like I’m suddenly going along this journey with her and this is the beginning of her process and I’m really enjoying spending time with her and she is open to everything, which I really love”.
