California T Ferraris Recalled Over Possible Fuel Leaks
The National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration announced Friday that Ferrari North America had recalled close to 200 examples of the 2016 California T due to potential fuel leaks in the car’s engine compartment. The cars being recalled, had been manufactured during the period September 8 to November 11 2015. Dealers will inspect potentially affected models and make any replacements or repairs to the fuel line without any charge.

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) is also recalling some 2013 models because of a faulty fuel delivery unit, which it says could crack and cause a fuel leak.
In a defendable statement submitted to NHTSA, Ferrari blamed the low-pressure fuel line connection as a manufacturing defect made by supplier. Only 185 vehicles are affected, which may help minimize the impact this recall has on consumer sentiment. The recall has begun on December, 14. Up to 868 vehicles are affected.
This was not first to Ferrari for recall vehicles in 2015 july Ferrari SpA has been informed by the Takata Corporation of a production non-conformance issue with the driver-side airbags it received pre-assembled from said supplier and installed in several cars. According to The Wall Street Journal, the affected models include the Ford Flex, Police Interceptor, Explorer, and Lincoln MKS.
In addition to notifying owners, dealers throughout North America were told to stop selling the cars in question from November 23.
