Call of Duty: Black Ops III Multiplayer Beta Trailer Has Arrived
Treyarch took Gamescom as an opportunity to reveal some of the specific features that PC gamers can look forward to in the Windows port of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, which is set to arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 6, 2015 (with PS3 and Xbox 360 versions following at a later date).
Earlier in the year, Mark Lamia of Treyarch Studios talked about how they wanted to make sure that personal computer (PC) players would get the most out of their game, and their latest revelations seem to indicate that the company is following through on their promise, according to Polygon.
A raft of new features that will benefit eSport professionals have also been added to Black Ops 3, including Specialists, which adds a new dynamic to multiplayer with powerful weapons that can be earned over the course of a game.
“Call of Duty 3″ is going to reportedly give up its signature gameplay element – the “Follow” icon, Game Rant reported. UK, the game’s eSports features are also receiving some major changes.
Explaining the new paintshop and Gunsmith features in Black Ops 3, an Activision statement explains: “With the new Gunsmith system, any weapon can be tailored to your preference with multiple models for each attachment”. In this new draft structure, players can select any specialist despite of duplicates in the opponent’s team.
Is the Ban and Protect aspect in all multiplayer matches or is it just for Ranked Play?
Will I be able to switch Specialists mid-game like switching classes?
The highlight among the features, though, are the Specialist Draft and the “Ban and Protect” systems.
