Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Multiplayer Reveal Is Coming On Friday
That said, we haven’t heard much about Infinite Warfare’s multiplayer as of yet.
Rarity classes – common, rare, legendary, and epic, each offering powerful enhancements – will make weapon variety in Call of Duty even more diverse.
Fans are also in for a World League Championship of Finals, which will also be live-streamed by then. The entire affair is themed after the Infinite Warfare series, taking place in space.
All in all, Infinite Warfare seems like it’ll do its part to shake up the Call of Duty formula, but it’s going to have some stiff competition, as EA’s Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 will be launching around the same time.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is scheduled for release November 4th on PlayStation® 4 system, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system, and PC. This pushes players into more defined roles, as the rig names suggest: Merc has a bull charge to ram enemies and health regen, while Phantom gets an active cloak and delays hit enemies’ damage recovery. He will also joining the likes of Hollywood A-lister Kevin Spacey as someone who has given his voice and likeness to the Call of Duty franchise in the past. Anyone who owns Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on PS4 will receive Jackal Assault for free.
Our first look at the multiplayer portion of Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered has leaked online, ahead of the gameplay’s formal reveal at the Call Of Duty XP event tonight.
But it’s this weekend’s big reveal of new features in multiplayer that will leave players buzzing. If nothing else, the in-game tech has come a long way.
“With two million United States dollars on the line the teams will be under more pressure than ever and the atmosphere will be electrifying – that mostly will be coming from the 5,000 people that turn up to watch these guys battle it out but also from the millions of fans back home”.
Despite a new title launching each year since 2007, Pachter says Call of Duty won’t wear out its loyal fan base for a while. “I don’t think it goes away for another 10 or 15 years”.
